Public organization “Independent Cultural Initiatives” (Independent Cultural Initiatives) — is an independent cultural platform that unites artists, producers, researchers and cultural managers for the implementation of contemporary cultural, artistic and educational projects. The organization was founded in 2018 in Kyiv with the aim of supporting the development of culture, education and creative industries in Ukraine and promoting international cultural dialogue.
The mission of the organization is the creation, popularization and promotion of cultural and artistic initiatives that contribute to the intellectual, spiritual and creative development of society. Through cultural projects, educational programs and international partnerships the organization supports the formation of an open, innovative and sustainable cultural environment.
Main directions of activity of the organization
Development of contemporary cinema and audiovisual art
The organization supports the development of contemporary cinematography and audiovisual art through production of film projects, organization of film festivals, film screenings and professional discussions. Special attention is paid to documentary cinema, socially significant topics and the creation of platforms for interaction between artists, producers and audiences.
International cultural exchange and cultural diplomacy
The organization develops international partnerships and implements projects that contribute to cultural dialogue between Ukraine and other countries. Through festivals, cultural events and joint initiatives the organization promotes Ukrainian culture abroad and introduces the Ukrainian audience to international artistic practices.
